Mother’s Day is a wonderful time of year to celebrate the mothers in your life. But what I love in particular is coming up with fun crafts that the kids can do by themselves for their Grandma. A few years back, we had made a beautiful vase for her, all decorated with kids’ fingerprints . We also made paper flowers, all of which had sweet sentiments written on them to put inside. The idea was for my Mom-in-Law to use the jar as a vase for her bouquets all year round. But instead, she has kept it as is and proudly displays it on her shelf to this day. Whatever a special mom in your life decides to use it for, I think our Mother’s Day DIY Fingerprint Jar Vase will be a very special gift indeed!
As you may know, Teacher Appreciation Week is upon us, and many parents are scrambling to come up with a thoughtful gift. Well, look no further because I’ve got an awesome idea for you—a Teacher Appreciation Gift Tote!
A few years ago, when my son was graduation pre-school, we wanted to do something grand and personal for his teachers. I looked through ideas on the internet and have come up with an idea of a gift basket. Instead of trying to come up with one perfect gift, we decided to put several small but cool things in one basket.
The only thing was that I did not quite like the idea of a basket. I really wanted to use something more useful in everyday life. Then, I saw an idea of a beach tote on Pinterest. It was stuffed with lots of goodies as a “basket” alternative, and I knew it was just what I had in mind also!
The National Teacher Appreciation Week is almost here! Today I’ll share with you a super easy and personal craft for your teacher, which you can do it with your kids in 1 hour. It’s Teacher Appreciation Simple Handprint Card!
Every year I get excited to come up with fun and unique ways to say “thank you” to our educators. I would go as far as say that we should show love and appreciation for our teachers every day of the year. But having an official designated week of appreciation is certainly a wonderful reason to shower our hard-working teachers with a little extra attention. It’s also a great excuse to get creative and make some fun crafts with the kids!
Valentine’s Day is nearly here, and that means—school Valentines time!
